Troop 1 Crestwood welcomes new boys in grades 6-12 (age 11 to 17) to become Boy Scouts.
TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP, COMPLETE THESE STEPS:
2023 DUES DEADLINE: Dec 5, 2023
UPON ACCEPTANCE and FOR RETURNING SCOUTS
(give forms and payment to Troop Committee Chair)
1. Parents pay annual dues and submit with Dues Form. You may write a check payable to "Troop 1 Crestwood."
1a. If your scout is BRAND NEW, submit the BSA Youth Application.
2. Parents submit BSA Health and Consent Form (required annually; Parts A&B). Also required to include a copy of immunizations and the front and back of your health insurance card.
3. As part of your son's advancement, parents are required to review How to Protection Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide

NOTICE - On 1/1/2021, the Westchester-Putnam Council MERGED with the nearby Hudson Valley Council. The old patch is grandfathered in and may continue to be worn.
FOR ADULTS TAKING ON TROOP POSITIONS:
To apply to become an Adult Leader:
1. Download and complete BSA Adult Application
2. Create an account at https://my.scouting.org
3. Take online Youth Protection Course
4. Print the Certificate of Completion for Youth Protection, and submit hardcopy with your printed Adult Application. Contact Troop1Crestwood@gmail.com to coordinate submitting the forms.
